Never Too Early To Plan Valentine's Day!

Brittany’s Blog
Two weeks until Valentine’s Day, have you made plans?

Gentlemen, this one is for you. If she says she doesn’t care about Valentine’s Day plans, I can almost guarantee she is lying. So I have come up with a few tips that will make Valentine’s Day simple, but thoughtful.

1. Buy flowers. Around Valentine’s Day flowers are extremely easy to find and a lot of grocery stores have simple bouquets for not too expensive. Pick them up on your way home from work or even the night before so she has something pretty to look at.
2. Try cooking. You don’t have to make reservations at an expensive restaurant or make a gourmet meal. Try spaghetti, it is easy and quick with few dishes (you can even rent dishes so neither of you has to do them), and then pick up a bottle of champagne or wine and enjoy an evening in.
3. Write to her. Let’s be real gifts get expensive, but words can mean so much more. It doesn’t have to be a ten page essay or sound formal and sophisticated. Pick out a blank card from your local Shoppers Drug Mart and just write down what you love about her.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be complicated, honestly it shouldn’t be. Everyday is a good day to tell someone you love them, but people like to mark February 14th with a little something.

Ladies, this doesn’t get you off the hook! He deserves something too, but you probably want to skip the flowers when looking for a gift for him.
