Simple Party Decor

Have you ever been to event with so much going on it makes you dizzy? There is no one place to settle your eyes. The host has chosen too many colours, patterns, decorations, etc. for the event to be relaxing to the eyes of the guests. Let’s face it, if they had chosen to stick to something simple maybe the event would be more enjoyable. Simplicity goes a long way.
When planning an event, choose one piece to be the main focus. This piece could be anything from the centrepiece on the tables, to the chandeliers, to the drapery. Having one main focus in your décor allows the guests to feel more at ease, because they are not trying to concentrate on too many things at once.
The same goes for colours. Choosing several colours for your event can give it a tacky or childish look. Pick one or two main colours to focus on, selecting a few different shades of each, and placing them on a black or white backdrop.
Keeping your decorating simple helps bring down the risk of complication and overall decrease the risk of a stressful you. Everyone deserves to enjoy the event, especially the host. Sometimes less is more, so keep it simple.
